At LISAA school of Design Fashion students were taken to Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath and they had a wonderful experience , this experience helped students to get more close to Indian and foreign artworks which gave them a wide range of perspectives in visual art culture. The Visit was a new experience for students which can help their development in various ways. It helped not only in academic perspective but also in a social and creative perspective.

Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath’s flea market-cum-exhibition in Bangalore is the place to go for unique handicrafts and traditional wear. The market attracts new artists and sellers from all over the country and from Pashmina shawls, quirky jewelry, and Kolhapuri footwear, to wooden showpieces and earthenware, this place is a paradise for handicraft hoarders and lovers of ethnic wear.

Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath is a visual art complex located in Bangalore. The complex has 18 galleries. 13 of these galleries carry a permanent collection of paintings, sculptures and folk art. The other galleries are rented out for exhibitions of works by artists of repute.

Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad is a place exclusively for all the art lovers. Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, situated in the center of the city at Seshadripuram attracts all types of art lovers, artists, and folk culture enthusiasts.

During the visit the Student also had an opportunity to visit various artists’ work. They visited many galleries and they could see the techniques which were used by the Artists and could relate to the art and techniques they are  using in terms of  sketching .

Many artists come here to showcase their talent with their celebrated paintings/photographs, keep them on display for visitors and also sell their artforms for the loving audience.

The art gallery also organizes ‘ Chitra Santhe ‘ every year hosting over 1500 artists at the place. Many cultural and folk festivals are also organized regularly. Thus this could be one of the best things to do in Bengaluru when you’re an art enthusiast and having a day out in the city.
