It is the art that involves arranging a typeface in various combinations of font, size, and spacing.The designers have been using typefaces strategically to make an impression on viewers through various mediums like Print, Animation, Motion Design, UI Design etc. Typographic designs with unique ideas can communicate with its audience in an effective way. LISAA School of Design effectively utilizes Typography in its pedagogy and learning plans for its Graphic Design Students. From our archives we are sharing below an interesting demonstration about Typography.
This process video below shows a glimpse of our 2020 graduating batch student Leslie Raju, working on the making of his devanagari inspired typeface/font “Lekha”. Leslie visualized, designed and created this working typeface/font as a part of his final year project. Leslie accomplished this Typography project successfully by channelizing his talent through impeccable research & design skills. Leslie is presently working as a Graphic & UI Designer at Sukkrish Aadds, Bengaluru.
