CREO Valley’s Bachelor Degree in Film Making (with emphasis on Digital Film Making) course address film and video production and typically combines technical, practical, critical and theoretical coursework. The course introduces students to the three stages of film production: development, filming and editing, also known as pre-production, production and post-production.

Digital Film making is a unique medium that combines camera technique, style, storytelling and time. The course offers students many perspectives of the art and craft of film making that shape their finished film artwork, as well as gain instruction in the business aspect of the film industry such as production management, marketing, and festival/exhibition organization among others. Students will explore and experiment, and find their individual voice while also working within a collaborative framework. Students will build their skills and ideas through the process of making.

Students in a Film Making program typically engage in practical work experiences and learn teamwork skills. The course offers students to get the opportunities to participate in internships where they work with mentors in the field. Students complete a suite of core subjects, which provide foundational and contextual knowledge and skills. Throughout their coursework, students might gain skills specialization areas like in acting, direction, script writing, cinematography, photography, sound design, and editing to develop creative personal voices in movie making using digital cameras.

The course is designed to fully equip students with the skills to produce and understand moving images for digital film and television; current and future production demands. The course is strongly committed to nurturing individual talents in digital film and television as students gain theoretical and practical experience and new skills in creative and technical areas.

Certification: Students successfully completing the academic requirements of the course would be awarded a Bachelors Degree in Animation & Multimedia from University in Bangalore (subject to terms and conditions). CREO Valley is recognized by QAI (UK) and JNTE.
